Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

It is a wonderful opportunity to be in mission with God in God's mission field.  Whether it be in our local community, in our state, around our country, or out of the country, God can use each of our talents for the mission field.

March Mission Project

There is a need in the community for wheeled luggage. If you have used suitcases/carry-on luggage with wheels that you are no longer using, please bring to the church during the month of March.  Items can be dropped off 8:00am-noon Monday through Friday or Sunday at worship throughout the month of March.  The bags will be taken to Harvest Table for distribution to those in need in the community.

Local Missions

We have several different local mission projects we are supporting and encouraging you to be a part of.  From our local food pantry which helps serve those that are hungry, to our partnering with other churches such as the Presbyterian Church of Washington, MO to help with making meals for the Meals on Wheels program, we have opportunities for local missions.

Food Pantry

The food pantry is open Friday afternoons from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the church.  No background check is required.

Maintenance Ministry

Do you have some basic home projects that you need assistance with such as changing batteries in smoke detectors, changing furnace filters, or other project?  We have a team that would be glad to help with those projects.  Reach out to the church office at 636-239-4477 or patty@firstwashmo.com to get started.
