Adult Small Groups & Fellowship Opportunities

Christianity and World Religions

When: Tuesdays 6:30-8:00pm
July 12-August 23 (no class on August 9)
Where: first floor classroom at church

Study: Christianity and World Religions by Adam Hamilton

Essential beliefs, historical information, and key dates of Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and Judaism will be discussed in addition to similarities and differences to Christianity.  The goal is to come away with a better understanding of other religions so that we may be led to better fulfill Jesus's command to "love our neighbors as ourselves".

Wiser Together

When: Sunday mornings from 10:45am - 12:00pm
Where: Last classroom on the left at church

Study: Hearing God-Developing a Conversational Relationship with God by Dallas Willard

A look at various questions such as:
- How do we hear God's voice?
- How can we be sure that what we think we hear is not our own subconscious?
- What role does the bible play?
- What if what God says to us is unclear?
